This is a group portrait with the Thousand-Hand-and-Eyed GuanYin and Eleven Faced GuanYin as the main figures. The thousand hands mean protecting the multitude, and the thousand eyes, watching over the world. The eleven faces of the GuanYin express displeasure, benevolence and tranquility. There are nine other facial expressions derived from the three. Above the nine is a bluish black guffawing face, which means that it requires great prestige to convert people. At the top is a red-faced Amitabha Buddha.

I had acquired the nice item from from a familys in Lhasa area of Tibet
