This is a great antique thangka. It painted with many deity on the thangka --- include Sakyamuni¡¢18 arhats¡¢Four Heavenly Kings¡¢Tsong Kha-pa¡¢Amitayus ¡¢Green Tara¡¢Vajrasattva¡¢Yama etc ! there are many Tibetan Inscription on the back of the thangka --- very rare ! The size is larger --- Relative to ordinary Thangka!

Sakyamuni was from the Shakya family. People called him Thun Gun Dub Pa(Titetan). When he was very young
He was the prince of Suddhondana King(Pure Food King).15.6. 542.B.C he sat in mother's womb and he was born 7.4.543.B.C by holy mother Muye(chul trul ma)
On age twenty-ninth he left from royalty, cut his hair by himself and became a fully ordained mork in front of the holy Stupa.
15.4.461.B.C on age eight one he liberated peacefully.
